OIB's guest speaker, Dan Billman, brings an extensive knowledge of the plant world and will describe current issues with trees in our area and offer tips on remediation methods. In addition to working many varied roles in horticulture throughout the St. Louis region and conducting educational nature Walkabouts for 20 years, Dan spent 19 years as an Assistant Professor at St. Louis Community College Meramec in the Biology/Horticulture Department.

John Oliver is a noted expert, botanist, and former educator recognized for his extensive knowledge in locating rare and native Missouri orchid species.
