Five Oaks on Warson is celebrating Parks and Recreation within the month of July. As a community center, we believe in impacting each other through learning, wellness, and recreational activities! 

Below is a list of our Parks and Recreation events that are taking place within our community. You will find all the information and additional links for your participation.

​All events are free, but some may require registration. Please ensure to register if it is required. 

​Photo Contest at Olivette's Parks and Pathways!

Entry Deadline July 15, 2024 at 5:00 pm!

Submit your best picture from any of Olivette’s five parks or pathways! Photo may have been taken previously. Entries are evaluated on creativity, technical skills, and adherence to theme, by a panel of anonymous professional artists.

Additional Information: 
  • Up to three entries may be submitted per person.
  • Various prizes will be awarded in each category and age group. 
  • All entries will be displayed at Five Oaks on Warson from July 27 through Labor Day, 2024.

Scavenger Hunt​ ​at the Olivette Parks!

Entry Deadline July 31st, 2024 
​Join us in an Olivette Parks Scavenger Hunt throughout our parks in the month of July! Find all 5 scavenger hunt signs, take a photo with them, upload them on the website, and claim your prize! Prizes can be picked up at Five Oaks on Warson after confirmation of your submission. 

Docent Led Hike Stacy Park!

July 30th, 9:00 - 10:30 am! 
Meet at the Stacy Park Pavilion to join our Docent Led Hike. We will be walking through the woodland and prairie and learn about the natural flora and fauna. Bring water and dress appropriately for the weather with sturdy shoes.

Yoga on the Patio!

Morning Sunrise Yoga 
July 17th, 7:00 - 8:00 am
Evening Meditation Yoga
July 24th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Breathe in the fresh air as you move through meditation exercises, strength building, and gentle stretches. Each yoga class is designed for every body and all levels to come participate and enjoy the stress-relieving benefits of being outdoors, engaging in community, and gentle yoga.

Five Oaks on Warson
Saturday, July 27th 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Come celebrate with us with a Party on the Patio at Five Oaks on Warson. We will have large patio games, food, drinks, photo contest winners reveals, and so much more!

Cornhole Tournament:

During Party on the Patio, we will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament!

We need teams of two people to register (only 1 person needs to register the team). We will be playing with a bracket and the winners will receive a small prize at the end.
