​Laurie McKenney is a Parenting Educator who has been working for 30 years with teachers, parents, and children. A graduate of Northwestern University, and a lead facilitator and curriculum writer at the LUME Institute, she has taught hundreds of teachers and parents how to attune to children's emotional needs. Her mission is to help parents understand emotional development so they can raise brilliant, resilient kids!

Understanding Your 2-Year-Old

Let’s face it! Older toddlers and two-year-olds are a force unto themselves! This age and stage can be challenging! Why can’t they share? Why do they act like the rules don’t apply to them?
