Several memorial options and levels are available for bulbs, perennials, trees, benches, and donations for general care.

Memorials may be placed in all five City parks subject to space availability for specific items.

Park Memorial Program Overview

DONOR LEVELS
  1. Bumblebee     $1 - $99
  2. Milkweed         $100 - $249
  3. Sassafras         $250 - $499
  4. Maple               $500 - $999
  5. Oak                   $1,000 - $1,999
  6. Monarch          $2,000+
RECOGNITION
  1. Written acknowledgment with tax ID number, for all donation levels.
  2. Tribute card sent to honoree designated by donor. Minimum $25 donation
  3. One time donor recognition in City newsletter. Minimum $100 donation
  4. Donation recognized by level on City website for one year. Minimum $25 donation
  5. Anonymous donations welcome too!
FLOWER MEMORIAL $100 minimum A lasting memorial that brightens the parks and provides food and shelter for pollinators. Bulbs are planted in the fall, perennials are planted in the spring or fall. your choice of:
  1. Spring Bulbs
  2. Native Wildflowers
  3. Monarch Waystation
TREE MEMORIAL $250-750  A substantial memorial for future generations. Trees are planted in the fall. Native tree species are selected for growing habits, biodiversity, and hardiness.
  1. A native tree donation $250
  2. A native tree in a specific park $750
MEMORIAL BENCH $2,400 This lovely memorial features a solid teak bench placed on concrete footings or pad with engraved top and/or bottom rails.
